about lisa moore

The owner of Be Moore Fit, Lisa Moore, passionately believes that you need strength, flexibility and mindfulness for optimal health. Always a fan of fitness, she was convinced by her personal trainer to compete at the Femsport Women’s Strength and Fitness Challenge in Kamloops, BC. That experience, combined with her part-time role teaching cardio kickboxing, inspired her to become a certified personal trainer in 2011.  

A canfitpro Personal Training Specialist, she left her 9-5 desk job in 2014 to focus solely on helping people achieve their fitness goals. She set off on a personal journey in 2016 to complete her yoga teacher training and is proud to be a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance International. Her love of yoga (and a pandemic) motivated her to obtain a Professional Level Yoga Teacher certification (RYT 500) that includes specializations in meditation and yoga for anxiety. 

Prior to obtaining her certifications, Lisa spent three years as a cardio kickboxing instructor. As a runner, she has participated in a number of 5k and 10k races, plus completed three half marathons. She added to her training repertoire with rock climbing at the local centre. Currently a strength and movement coach at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, she also continues to provide yoga, meditation and personal training at her studio. Lisa has been motivating her clients to discover the benefits of a fitter, healthier lifestyle through a fun, positive approach to fitness since 2008.
